Hornbeck first starts out by saying that while everyone else is gathering to meet Matthew Harrison Brady, he will stay back and watch the crowded trainstation from afar. Hornbeck also says that Bert Cates shouldn't be convicted because people whould be able to speak what they want. The last sentence is talking about how he Brady is coming from is not a holy place. It refers to Sodom and Gomorrah because that was where two cities in the bible were destroyed by god.
